Hey There!

I have always had a genuine passion for animals, especially dogs. I don't need to tell you why they are one of the most amazing creatures on the planet. You're here because you have one, have had one, or know someone who does. Which means you know how incredible they are.

I grew up all over the city, my parents moved a lot, meaning, I didn't have much stability as a youth and school wasn't my strong suit. I've always been creative and compassionate. I like to make people smile and laugh but often found myself alone in my room with a dog as my only solace. After years of struggling to keep a 9 to 5, I decided that I should pursue something I was passionate about. The first thing that came to my mind was dogs. I wanted to be around them, but how could I turn a passion into a career?
I volunteered at a canine centre, bathing, cleaning pee puddles, mopping floors, anything I could do to be closer to them. I learned everything I could about nutrition and their health, scouring the internet, books and even speaking to reputable veterinarians. I then met an incredible dog trainer who I've since partnered with that taught me more than I could have ever learned on my own. He showed me how different they are, how body language is extremely important in trying to understand how they think, how they react to things, and how we should respond back to them. I then quit my part time job and opened my own dog walking business with zero idea of how it would go, whether or not I would be able to pay my rent or if it would take off at all. I have been in business since early 2020 and all my advertising is done myself or by word of mouth. Fast forward a few years and I have since transformed my walking business into a grooming business! I decided to complete a very informative, hands-on grooming course and got my diploma. I then started to groom out of a salon around some amazing and experienced groomers in order to further my knowledge and start putting in those 10,000 hours!

When I was totally confident I began to branch out on my own. I saw a market of people who struggle to get their precious pets to and from the salon for one reason or another. So, I decided.. why not bring the salon to them? And apart from slowly building up clientele and working 6 days a week, that is where we are today. All that to say, I have learned an incredible amount and am still at the salon from time to time as I just can't get enough!

Now that you're caught up, here we are.. I run my own dog grooming business where I strive to make dogs and owners happy everywhere. They say if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.
